Captain Cook Day Club
The first of it’s kind in NSW.
Active Programs for Older People
The Club was the first of its kind in NSW, set up as a joint venture between the RSL NSW Branch and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. It celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007.
The Day Club provides social and activity opportunities for older people, mostly still living at home, but unable to attend more active programs offered in their local community.
The Club is sponsored by the Miranda RSL Sub-Branch and is supported by volunteers. Membership is open to any interested member of the community.
The Club meets each Wednesday between 10am and 2pm at Diggers Miranda, 615 Kingsway Miranda. Transport is provided to and from the meeting place.

Youth Club
Providing physical activities for our youth.
Our
Youth
Club
The Youth Club started in 1962 and is an affiliate of the Sub-Branch. It provides a range of physical activities for young people. Membership is open to all young people up to twenty five years of age. The sub-Branch provides the Youth Club with financial assistance each year as required.
Karate
Shokotan Karate is held on Tuesday and Thursday nights with sessions run during the school holidays. Classes start for children aged from 6 years through to all grades.
Trampoline
Miranda RSL Youth Club was announced as the Best RSL Youth Club in NSW for 2012. Regular classes are held each week and participants may be able compete in Display Days and State Championships.
Tumbling
Kids from Kindy up are invited to learn how to tumble at Miranda RSL Youth Club with safe and friendly lessons.
